We are looking for a Civil Engineer based in Saguenay, QC to work on projects involving and power line structures, and energy transmission and distribution ( ). Our major projects and high market recognition will appeal to the person who wants to progress and develop their technical skills within a team where career latitude and opportunities are possible and encouraged. We offer a flexible hybrid work model, enabling you to work from home and from one of our offices.Primary Responsibilities

• Under the supervision of project managers, take charge of specific aspects of projects related to substation and power line structures.
• Manage files: planning and administrative follow-up
• Ensure quality control of project-related practices
• Conduct studies and draft technical reports and specifications
• Coordinate and supervise the work of technicians and draftsmen involved in the projects for which he or she is responsible
• Visit project sites and participate in construction site supervision (when required)
• Participate in the preparation of service offers
• In the medium term, this person will be called upon to establish and maintain relationships with customers and become a project manager with the support of a mentor

• Profile

• University Degree in Civil Engineering
• Member of l’Ordre des Ingénieurs du Québec (OIQ)
• More than five (5) years of experience in structural design (mainly steel and concrete structures). Experience in substation or line structures design (an asset)
• Interest in and ability to develop 3D design and modeling skills using a variety of commercial programs (SolidWorks, Revit, Civil 3D, etc.)
• Knowledge of the PLS software suite (PLS-CADD, PLS-POLE, PLS-TOWER)
• Knowledge of structural analysis software such as SAFI or S-Frame (an asset)
• Fluency in spoken and written French
• Autonomy, initiative and ability to work as part of a team
