- Works collaboratively with the CDE unit and the Director to implement programs and program changes
- Prepares required documentation and ensures process improvement and efficiency with regards to programs
- Review course material and lectures provided by instructors
- Coordinate schedule with instructors and staff involved in programs
- Act as the primary day-to-day operational contact/resource for designated programs
- Requisition, track and inventory all supplies used during courses, including all accounting processes as purchase requisitions and expense reimbursements
- Investigates and resolves any discrepancies on account transactions
- Stay up to date on professional colleges guideline changes, policies and procedures
- Reviews reports to identify outstanding data or enrollment issues which require follow-up
- For patient-related programs only and if qualified:
- Review and assess all patient documentation and track data in patient database
- Utilizing their health education background, will request materials specific to programs
- Vetting patients and assisting the dental professionals in the delivery of course directives (i.e. conducting x-rays, reading of charts, and updating of patient records)
- From time to time, the incumbent may assist with patients during clinical sessions
Qualifications
- Minimum post-secondary diploma.
- 1-2 years of experience as Registered Dental Hygienist, Registered Dental Assistant, Licensed Practical Nurse and/or related discipline is preferred
- Experience in a dental/medical educational environment preferred
- Knowledge of dental terminology is an asset
- Knowledge and understanding of the requirements of various professional colleges
- Accurate data entry skills; exceptional attention to detail
- Strong commitment to confidentiality and professionalism
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced and diverse work environment that is dynamic and ever-changing
- Works independently and effectively under tight deadlines in a team environment
- Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
- Demonstrated problem-solving and critical thinking skills
- Well-developed relationship building and networking skills
- Proficiency using MS Office applications and Google Suite
- PeopleSoft Financials, SupplyNet, e-Class, event management software, and patient management software experience is an asset

Expected salary: $51821.52 – 70382.74 per year
