If balance is one of your priorities, read on!Baker Tilly is currently looking for a full-time, permanent Cloud Bookkeeper to join our team in Bonnyville, Alberta or Cold Lake, Alberta.The Cloud Bookkeeper uses secure, web-based software to post and prepare financial information and provide support to our clients to bolster their success.Key responsibilities include:

• Financial record-keeping in a cloud-based ecosystem for various clients including processing of payables, receivables and payroll and recording of general journal entries.
• Completion of bank and other account reconciliations.
• Preparation of GST and other tax returns.
• Preparation and generation of periodic client reporting packages.
• Communication with clients to ensure accurate, timely and complete reporting.
• Provision of bookkeeping and software support services to clients.
• Development of documentation of bookkeeping workflows.
• Onboarding and training our clients on Cloud accounting software and apps.

Qualifications:

• No experience necessary but Bookkeeping Certificate is required.
• Minimum 2 years full cycle public accounting experience in a cloud ecosystem is an asset.
• Excellent working knowledge of cloud accounting software including QBO, Xero and various related apps, as well as an interest in technology and innovation
• Strong oral and written communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Attention to detail
• Strong organizational and planning skills to meet tight deadlines
• Adaptability to changing priorities

The Cloud Bookkeeper will be required to work in an office environment with the option for some remote flexibility. Working overtime during busy seasons is a requirement of this position.
