In this role, you’ll be challenged to think on your feet, learn on the job and get a little bit better each and every day, with the support of a team that always has your back. There’s more to any job than words on a page, but at the core of this position is understanding and meeting our customers’ needs. The Commercial Account Manager, under the direction of the VP, focuses on inbound opportunities from lead generation through to award. You will be the primary point of contact for the customer. You will be responsible for developing the commercial business, building relationships with customers, coordinating with the estimating team, issuing formal documents, responding to customer clarifications, and handing over awarded opportunities to the operations team.Responsibilities will include:

• Develop business opportunities with new and existing customers

• Proactively seek new business opportunities, cultivate strategic relationships, and consistently hunt for innovative ways to grow our client base.
• Maintain relationships with new and existing customers
• Create and maintain relationships with other sales team members OR
• Coordinate with sales team members
• Gather inbound opportunities directly from customers
• Contact the customer and initiate a field visit when required

• Work with the estimating team to obtain cost estimates
• Ensure seamless and proactive communication with the customer.
• Gather relevant information, write up a proposal, and issue it to the customer

• Follow up with the customer, look for ways to advance the opportunity and close the sale
• Where there are any questions, resolve these with the opportunity lead, health and safety representative, and finance team in a timely and proactive manner.
• Notify operations team of project award and hold a clarification meeting to ensure the most relevant project drivers, customer concerns, risks, and opportunities to deliver excellence are communicated

Primary Qualifications Required:

• A high school diploma or GED are required.
• Additional training in a certificate or diploma in a related field such as but not limited to sales, estimation, customer service, or bookkeeping would be an asset to the position.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in a business development or account management role is required. Experience is similar industry is preferred.

• Microsoft Office (Excel, Word & Outlook) experience is required.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills are required.
• Ability to maintain accuracy of information while engaged in both repetitive and non-repetitive work is required.
• Ability to maintain professionalism and develop effective working relationships with external stakeholders and customers, maintaining the high standards of the All Weather Windows brand and reputation are required.
• Previous CRM (Customer Relationship Management) experience with Salesforce or MS Dynamics is preferred.
• Knowledge and/or experience of construction, building envelope, commercial glazing, or specialty glass is an asset

• Experience with architects, designers, building owners, and general contractors is preferred.
