Job description: Commercial AnalystOur Calgary client is seeking a Commercial Analyst to join their LNG Strategy and Logistics team. This position offers a great exposure to international joint ventures, complex contracts, and strategic decision-making. A chance to collaborate with senior leadership in a dynamic, multicultural team environment. Perfect opportunity to provide quantitative and qualitative analyses to optimize investment across the entire Canadian gas value chain.Your success will be defined by your ability to:

• Analyze status of the LNG Canada project quantitatively and qualitatively from the shareholder perspective, identify issues, and find and implement solutions to these issues to improve/protect investment value
• Understand the value chain related to the LNG Canada project
• Proactive about implementing appropriate measures and approaches
• Monitor the external environment that could affect the business, and to analyze and report on it
• Participate in various internal and external meetings
• Work outside of regular hours in the early morning or late evening, during holiday

Your strengths include:

• Bachelor’s degree
• 3+ years of work experience in oil and gas companies, investment banks, and consulting firms is an asset
• Experience in investment management and modeling is a plus
• Basic knowledge of finance and accounting are a plus
• Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
• Ability to understand extensive business contracts and business structures
• Team player
