The ideal candidate will have strong written and verbal communication skills with a history of executing projects while exceeding customer expectations.Responsibilities

  • Complete Care and Control of the Construction Site
  • Daily Reporting to Project Manager
  • Onsite Construction Professional
  • Onsite Resource Coordination
  • Expedite the Construction Schedule
  • Quality Control
  • Site Safety Assurance and WorkSafe Compliance
  • Client Relations
  • Community Relations
  • Project Progress Photography

Requirements

  • Minimum 4 years of onsite construction experience
  • Minimum 3+ years of continuous superintendent or supervisory role experience (in the construction field)
  • Strong working knowledge of current construction methods, drawings, specifications, and building codes
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality of employment and other designated information
  • Self-motivated, creative thinking, organized, and efficiency
  • Excellent Good oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to effectively manage time, responsibilities, and priorities
  • Demonstrated interpersonal, leadership, and team-building skills
  • Level 1 (minimum) First Aid certification and knowledge of (WHMIS) Systems
  • Budgeting and estimating skills (computer word processing and spreadsheet programs an asset)
  • Proficient with computers, multifunctional processing units, telephones and faxes
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office and skills in data entry
  • Valid driver’s license
