They are proud to be one of the most well-established and well-regarded brokerages.ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITYAs a Commercial Account Executive in Surety & Construction team, you will be working closely with an established support team. You will be responsible for actively projecting new business and createing outbound leads, developing long term relationship with clients. This role is ideally suited for an experienced broker who provides the highest level of client service.ABOUT THE POSITIONYour primary responsibility will be to act as the go-to contact for all customer insurance needs. You are responsible for maintaining a positive and proactive customer communication at all times. Your daily duties include:

• Proactively seek out and engage with potential clients to expand the brokerage’s portfolio in the surety bond market.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with current and prospective clients, ensuring their needs are met and providing exceptional customer service.
• Assess client requirements, industry risks, and bond needs to recommend appropriate surety solutions and tailor proposals accordingly.
• Work with markets to negotiate terms and conditions, and secure bonds for clients while ensuring competitive pricing and favorable terms.
• Work across provinces, BC, AB, MB, ON, and QB

THE REQUIREMENTS

• Demonstrated track record of success in sales, within the surety, with the ability to generate new business and meet sales targets.
• Strong understanding of the surety bond market, including different types of bonds, industry practices, and regulatory requirements.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively build and maintain relationships with clients and industry partners.
• Strong analytical skills to assess client needs, evaluate risk profiles, and recommend suitable surety solutions.
• Proven ability to negotiate favorable terms and conditions with surety companies and other stakeholders.

COMPENSATION

• Negotiable base salary, between $70,000 – $100,000 depending on relevant experience + bonus + commission
