Job description: Pinchin Ltd.Construction CoordinatorBritish ColumbiaPinchin has an immediate opening for a Construction Coordinator to join our Construction & Project Management Services Group (CPM) in British Columbia. The successful candidate will report to the Regional Manager, BC Region.Responsibilities:

  • Assist with preparation of scope of work and deliverables
  • Prepare complete tender packages
  • Participate in project meetings with contractors and consultants, prepare meeting minutes
  • Coordinate construction schedule and activities; multiple projects
  • Issue progress updates as needed regarding costs and timelines
  • Assist with preparation of permit application documents
  • Preparation of proposal submission documents
  • Coordinate work with regulatory bodies and utility companies
  • Manage and monitor contractor’s safety program and compliance
  • Attend sites at various locations throughout BC and Alberta

Qualifications:

  • 5 plus years of onsite experience within the construction industry. Experience on Demolition, Civil/Excavation, Retrofit, Restoration and/or Tenant Improvement projects is desired.
  • PMP designation or equivalent is considered an asset.
  • Competent interpreting blueprints and drawings
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Project
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and general computer software
  • Demonstrated knowledge of construction, engineering, and architecture principles
  • Familiarity with contract structures and delivery methods
  • Ability to work in a team environment
