This is a full-time position with excellent opportunity for growth. Reporting to the foreman, our electrical apprentices must ensure all work is completed in compliance with relevant safety regulations and company policies. They will follow project specifications and timelines, working efficiently and effectively to meet deadlines. Capable of conducting heavy physical lifting, frequent prolonged standing/walking, pushing/pulling, or moving/lifting heavy equipment/supplies
Ability to work at heights and on ladders
Have own personal protective equipment (some will be provided)
Excellent communication skills
Perform setup and cleanup tasks at job site
Work collaborativelyOn the Job TrainingProperly and safely install, replace and repair electrical systems, lighting fixtures and electrical control and distribution equipment such as switches, relays and circuit breaker panels, including energy-efficient systems
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, circuit diagrams, and electrical code specifications to determine wiring layouts for new or existing installations, including in-slab installations.
Pull wire through conduits and holes in walls and floors.
Splice, join, and connect wire to fixtures and components to form circuits.
Install brackets and hangers to support electrical equipment.
Test continuity of circuits using test equipment to ensure compatibility and safety of the system following installation, replacement, or repair.
Troubleshoot and isolate faults in electrical and electronic systems and remove and replace faulty components.
Connect electrical power to audio and visual communication equipment, signaling devices, and heating and cooling systems.
Plan and execute electrical installations, including EMT and conduit work.
Conduct preventive maintenance programs and keep maintenance records.
Support the growth and development of company culture
Performs other duties as requiredPhysical RequirementsMust be able to stand and/or be on their feet 10hrs day
Must be able to lift 30-50lbs as needed
