Job description: We are actively seeking experienced Carpenter Foremen/Forewomen to join our clients dynamic team, specializing in both Commercial and Residential projects. This role offers the opportunity to work on a variety of ongoing projects and contribute to our clients growing success.Job Duties:Build structures according to detailed plans and drawings.Assist in the development and refinement of building plans.Select and utilize appropriate materials and tools for various projects.Apply carpentry techniques including measuring, cutting, shaping, assembling, and joining materials as per project specifications.Maintain and update inventory records as required.Adhere to all health and safety standards, promoting occupational health and safety on site.Perform daily inspections, maintain equipment, and ensure work areas are clean and organized.Willingness to be trained on new equipment and techniques.Mentor junior employees to develop their skills and knowledge.Effectively communicate with the crew foreman and/or site supervisor.Perform other duties as assigned to support project success.Qualifications:Minimum 3 years of carpentry experience in a construction (Residential or Commercial) environment.Post-secondary education or carpentry trade certificate from a recognized program preferred; apprentices considered.Competent in the use and maintenance of related tools and equipment.Knowledge of building regulations and codes is an asset.Mechanically inclined with problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.Strong knowledge of working in a safety-sensitive environment.Ability to lift, pull, and push 50+ lbs regularly; climb ladders; operate heavy machinery; stand for long periods; perform repetitive work.Positive, motivated, and hardworking with strong interpersonal and communication skills.Willingness to work overtime as required during peak seasons.
