Job description: Objective & OverviewTo provide expert electrical support to all RMX plants and associated equipment including Batching systems, boilers, chillers, aggregate handling systems…Responsibilities

  • Complete new electrical installation for new equipment or repairs
  • 90% of the incumbents time is in field doing electrical work and traveling to various ReadyMix plants to work
  • Reducing Energy costs at plant
  • Maximize uptime of plants and equipment
  • Assist with electrical design and specifications for new equipment

Relationship with Others

  • Works very closely with Operations Managers

Specific Accountabilities:

  • Meet design requirements with safe, innovative, effective, cost effective and timely solutions
  • Comply with regulations and code
  • Provide training to operations employees to improve their understanding of the plant and equipment
  • Optimizing Plant Electrical costs
  • Reducing Energy costs

Dimensions

  • Plants: 75 (Ontario and Quebec)
  • Capex: $5M
  • Plant repairs: $10M

Qualification Profile

  • 5+ years electrical experience
  • Construction & Maintenance Electrician
  • Proficient in Microsoft office applications on a PC
