Phase 1 project is comprised of 13 new stations and 18 km of track and will include tunnels, bridges, park & ride facilities, and an MSF.Overseeing the maintenance storage facility on the Green Line LRT Project, this position is located in: Calgary, ABYour role within the team:

  • Planning, organizing, directing, and evaluating construction of MSF to modify commercial, transportation, and recreational facilities.
  • Proficiency in planning, executing, and overseeing construction project, including cost estimation, scheduling, and quality control.
  • Understanding facility maintenance, repair, and safety protocols.
  • Managing project budgets, tracking expenses, and optimizing resource allocation.
  • Identifying and mitigating risks related to construction and facility management.

The ideal candidate:

  • 10-15 years minimum of design management and facility construction experience in the transportation/rail sector (transport sector is preferred, but institutional/industrial/commercial process-oriented facility experience is required).
  • Construction management experience (change management, safety, scheduling, etc).
  • Municipal development approvals experience required.
  • Technical competency in one or more relevant building systems (architecture, structure, electrical, mechanical, etc.).
  • General understanding of all relevant building systems.
  • Strong written and verbal communication, team coordination, and conflict resolution along with team leadership and management skills.
