Job description: We have partnered with our client in the entertainment industry who is looking to add a Construction Project Coordinator to their team.Position: Construction Project Coordinator
Employment Type: Full Time, Permanent
Location: Oakville, Ontario
Hours: Monday – Friday 9:00 am – 5:00 pm
Salary Expectations: $60, 000 – $70,000

Understand all project requirements and support driving deliverables on time.
Manage documentation and tracking for each project and share the information with key stakeholders on a regular cadence.
Coordinate and schedule installation for the companies to ensure installation projects are delivered at requested times.
Liase with the company’s procurement to ensure materials for installation are available.
Perform administrative tasks of filling forms, documents, preparing shipments, and other ad-hoc tasks.
Support the preparation of project documents.
Work with the Head of Construction, and various Installation teams to establish baseline schedules that meet the needs of the business.
Attend Project meetings as required, virtually or in-person.
Communicate regularly with the construction team, installation team and site teams as required to assist in ensuring the seamless execution of the project.
Look for and provide process improvement ideas.
Monitor project progress and team members’ performance and provide updates to Head of Construction & Facilities
Assist the Head of Construction & Facilities in the development of project management documents such as project budgets, project schedules, scope statements, project plans & contracts.
Review of design & permit plans
Liaison with all internal teams to ensure communication, and continuous improvement across departments.Qualifications
Post secondary degree/diploma in construction management or related
Minimum 3 years project coordinator experience in the construction industry
Background in administrative support. PMP considered an asset
Knowledge of project management best practices
Ability to manage and adapt to multiple priorities and timelines
Exceptional attention to detail
Strong presentation skills (virtually and in-person)
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Experience working without supervision and in a team.
Strong scheduling and effective time management skills.
Organized, Open, Positive Attitude, interested in Technology and how it shapes the future world.
Proficient Knowledge of Construction Contracts & Execution
Ability to stay highly organized and balance multiple tasks.
Proficient knowledge of MS Office, MS Project and Excel requiredSummary
