The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the General Contractor (GC) and ensuring that the project is completed on time, within budget and to the satisfaction of the client.Responsibilities:

• Assist the client with reviewing the bids, selecting a contractors and vendors, and establishing contracts
• Manage the GC to ensure that the project is completed on time, within budget and to the satisfaction of the client.
• Approve timesheets and ensure that all project staff and subcontractors are working efficiently and effectively.
• Coordinate requests for information (RFI) and shop drawing reviews with engineering contractor.
• Manage relationships with key stakeholders, including the client, contractor, and engineering contractor.
• Create benchmarks for success and deliverables, including managing budgets, and plan work assignments that meet deadlines requirements while considering changes in budget or scope during the execution of the contract.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or related field
• At least 5 years of experience in managing construction projects of $30M to $50M in size, ideally in Material Handling projects
• Proven ability to manage a team of professionals and maintain positive relationships with key stakeholders
• Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and construction management software
