Join us and be a part of this exciting journey!Job DescriptionAs a Construction Project Manager, you will be responsible for the following:

  • Overseeing project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and implementation from start to finish.
  • Leading and coordinating project teams, including contractors and subcontractors.
  • Acting as the main point of contact for clients, consultants, and suppliers.
  • Ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet or exceed quality standards.
  • Developing detailed project plans, including schedules and budgets.
  • Managing project risks and developing mitigation strategies.
  • Ensuring compliance with all building codes, safety regulations, and contractual requirements.
  • Maintaining comprehensive project documentation and providing regular progress updates to senior management and clients.
  • Resolving any issues or disputes that arise during the project lifecycle.
  • Continuously seeking opportunities for process improvements and implementing best practices in project management.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of five years of experience as a Construction Project Manager with a Construction Manager or General Contractor in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA).
  • Proven experience managing institutional healthcare, higher education, and government renovation, redevelopment, and addition projects.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Project for developing and managing project schedules.
  • Expertise in managing renovation projects that remain occupied during construction.
  • Post-secondary degree or diploma in construction, engineering, or a related field is preferred.
  • Strong leadership and team coordination skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret project plans, budgets, and schedules.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Knowledge of Procore or similar project management software is an asset.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and adapt to changing circumstances.
  • Knowledge of First Aid and CPR is an asset.

Compensation

  • Salary Range: $120,000 – $140,000, depending on experience.
