Principal Accountabilities
Data Collection
1. Compile and accumulate time-related activity (project, model, etc.) and ensure systems are up
to date.
2. Validate materials and other invoiced costs that have been reported to ensure accurate
reporting for billing and margin evaluation processes.
3. Create and review the controls needed to ensure accuracy and timeliness of data accumulation
and reporting systems.
Inventory
1. Investigate cycle counting variances and resolve issues.
2. Update standard costs in the bill of materials.
3. Revise the reserve for obsolete inventory as needed.Analysis
1. Conduct margin analysis on projects and prepare monthly profitability reports to management.
2. Support management with analysis in preparing tenders and quotations.
3. Report on budget versus actual cost variances, identify their causes and report findings to
management.Qualifications
5 years of Project Management experience preferably in Construction
Strong understanding of construction project inner workings
Attention to detail, proactive and understanding the importance of accuracy and meeting deadlines. Proficient in leveraging Excel and other Microsoft Suite applications.
Excellent verbal communication skills, and problem resolution skills
Ability to plan and organize own work, ensure daily follow ups to ensure task completion.
Able to work under pressure within specified deadlines.Summary
