Job description: Description:Summary: Our client is actively seeking a CSO who embodies our principle of “Safety. First. Always.” The role demands a proactive approach to maintaining and advising on the project-specific safety program, ensuring a safe work environment in line with our clients high standards.Core Responsibilities:Administer first aid and complete incident investigation reports as needed.Conduct formal project site inspections and provide safety and environmental guidance.Review and track safety documentation such as forms, permits, toolbox minutes, and hazard assessments.Complete safety orientations and ensure compliance with safety procedures.Provide information and support regarding safety applications to field personnel.Compile safety statistics and maintain safety documentation.Inspect emergency equipment and evaluate trade partner compliance.Lead safety meetings and maintain documentation for COR certification.Qualifications:Exceptional ability to communicate and conduct meetings effectively.In-depth knowledge of local Occupational Health & Safety Regulations and Return-to-Work programs.Strong deadline orientation and relationship-building skills with trade partners and site teams.Minimum of 5 years of experience in safety and a current CSO certification.Industrial First Aid Level 2 certification with a transportation endorsement.Key Skills:Excellent communication and strategic thinking.Knowledgeable in safety compliance options and fall protection plans.À propos d’Actalent:Actalent est un chef de file mondial des services d’ingénierie et de sciences et des solutions de talents.
