Job description: We have an immediate opportunity available at our JASA Engineering Calgary office for a highly skilled Construction Surveyor in our Western Canadian Project locations. • Actively participate in Inline corporate HSE program
• Actively participate in all client mandated safety programs
• Encourage safe work, safety & quality interventions. Lead by example for both fellow coworkers and all project personnel

Surveying

• Record and maintain daily field notes of survey activities
• Must be able to work alone.
• Perform various aspects of industrial & civil survey tasks accurately and efficiently
• Troubleshoot and maintain survey equipment & vehicles
• Effectively communicate with the Client, Drafters and PMs/Supervisors
• Mentor Junior Surveyors
• Facilitate and maintain strong positive client relations
• Actively participate in Inline ISO 9001 Quality Program

Minimum Qualification, Experience & Skills

• 5-7+ years in construction survey environment
• Completed civil engineering/geomatics diploma or equivalent
• Excellent GPS & Total Station knowledge
• CSTS 2020, CSO, WHMIS 2015 certifications
• Strong communication skills as well as critical thinking
• Detail oriented with a professional approach
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
• Advanced UAV would be considered an asset
• AutoCad would be considered an asset
• Knowledge in the use of Trimble Access is an asset
• A valid Class 5 driver’s license
