Job description: Contract ControllerOur client is seeking an experienced Contract Controller to join their team in Calgary. The successful candidate will be responsible for various accounting tasks to support the financial operations of the organization. This contract role is in office full time but open to some hybrid arrangement, if desired.Your success will be defined by your ability to:
- Hands-on direct involvement in the day-to-day operations of the accounting department, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and payroll.
- Full-cycle month-end reporting
- Responsible for budgeting and forecasting
- Ensure cash management with collections of AR and AP process is being run efficiently
Your strengths include:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting, CPA designation
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
