Job description: Job Description:Our client is seeking an experienced Controller to join their team and oversee all aspects of financial and accounting operations. This position is ideal for someone with a deep knowledge of full-cycle accounting and a strong commitment to ensuring financial accuracy, operational efficiency, and adherence to compliance standards.Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger activities
• Manage the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate reporting
• Monitor and analyze financial data to identify and resolve discrepancies, ensuring regulatory compliance
• Prepare financial statements, budgets, forecasts, and variance reports to guide business decision-making
• Collaborate with department leaders to improve and streamline accounting functions
• Implement and maintain the Open Invoice system to ensure efficient invoice processing and cost tracking
• Provide leadership and mentorship to the finance and accounting team
• Stay abreast of regulatory changes and industry best practices to ensure up-to-date financial operations

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a Controller
• CPA designation preferred
• 5+ years of experience in full-cycle accounting or similar roles, with demonstrated expertise in overseeing financial operations
• Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems (Open Invoice experience required)
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a track record of building effective cross-functional relationships
• High attention to detail and accuracy, paired with the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
