We’re looking for an experienced, proactive individual who excels at managing financial operations, creating robust (and useful!) reports for internal use, and compliance with bank covenants. We’ll be looking to you to provide advice and greater context into our business units, so if you’re passionate about leveraging your financial acumen to drive success and enjoy working with extremely cool people, this is the perfect role for you.As a Controller at BHD, you’ll bring a detail-oriented mindset, a collaborative approach, and proficient ability to streamline financial processes and provide key insights. You’ll also help manage bank relationships and ensure compliance with financial agreements, making you an integral part of our continued success.Who You Are:· Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a Related Field.· Professional Accounting Designation – CPA (Chartered Professional Accountant).· CFA not required but valued.· A delightful, experienced financial leader with strong accounting and analytical skills.· Ideally proficient in the Microsoft Dynamics ecosystem and other business intelligence tools for financial reporting.· Knowledge in managing bank covenants and financial compliance.· Detail-oriented with a strong ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.· A great communicator who can work across departments and collaborate effectively with senior leadership.· Passionate about process improvements and utilizing technology to enhance efficiency.· A team player, with a strong understanding of GAAP.· Comfortable working in a dynamic, growth-oriented company environment.What Will You Do?· Oversee all accounting functions, including general ledger, payroll, and accounts payable/receivable.· Ensure compliance with bank covenants and maintain accurate reporting for financial institutions.· Develop financial statements and reports providing insights to the leadership team.· Utilize the Microsoft Dynamics ecosystem or similar software to create dynamic financial dashboards and reporting systems.· Manage cash flow, budgeting, and forecasting to support the company’s strategic initiatives.· Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard assets and ensure regulatory compliance.· Collaborate with external auditors and tax advisors to ensure timely filings and audits.Why BHD?Be a part something innovative and growing!
