- Financial Oversight: Lead and manage all accounting functions, including financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
- Mergers & Acquisitions: Oversee financial aspects of mergers, acquisitions, and scale-ups, ensuring seamless integration and alignment with strategic goals.
- Process Optimization: Identify and implement streamlined accounting processes and systems to improve efficiency and accuracy across the organization.
- Reporting & Analysis: Deliver high-level financial analysis and reporting to support executive decision-making and organizational growth strategies.
- Team Leadership: Mentor, train, and manage the accounting team, fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment.
- Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure adherence to regulatory standards, financial compliance, and risk mitigation practices across all entities.
- Collaboration & Communication: Work closely with executive management and other departments to align financial goals and operational priorities while maintaining transparency and trust.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- CPA designation (or equivalent) is strongly preferred.
Experience:
- Minimum 10 years of progressive accounting or finance experience, with a focus on leadership roles.
- Proven experience managing financial operations for multiple entities, including mergers, acquisitions, and scale-ups.
- Demonstrated success in process improvement and implementing streamlined financial systems.
- Strong track record of high-level reporting, budgeting, and forecasting in a dynamic environment.
Skills:
- Adaptability: Agile in navigating unstructured challenges and dynamic business environments.
- Technical Proficiency: Advanced knowledge of accounting software, ERP systems, and financial reporting tools.
- Attention to Detail: Rigorous focus on accuracy in financial data and reporting.

- Communication & Collaboration: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with executives and cross-functional teams.
Base Salary: $120,000 – $150,000 per year
- Salary based on experience and qualifications
- Full benefits package including RRSP matching
Work Hours:
- 40 hours per week
- Monday – Friday

- This opportunity does not include relocation. It will be the responsibility of the candidate should relocation be required.
