We offer a work environment where team members are truly valued and have what they need to thrive in their role and make a meaningful impact.Position SummaryThe Coordinator, MM&C, reporting to Manager, Major Maintenance & Construction & Turnarounds, interfaces with the project managers, engineers, planners, supervisors and schedulers to review work packages, create detailed schedules and optimize the safe and efficient execution at the workface. The position provides support services to coordinate different trade and contractor groups resulting in schedule and cost compliance. The coordinator is responsible for integrating project and maintenance work in order to execute scopes of work accurately and of high quality.Accountabilities
- Monitor and report on items such as project and maintenance schedule, safety performance, contractor performance, and cost performance
- Support safety and environmental objectives by providing comprehensive reviews of project and maintenance work
- Attend weekly team meetings to report on KPIs
- Organize and coordinate multi-trade and contractor field walk-downs
- Review and approve work orders in EAM and create purchase requisitions for parts and services
- Participate in Contractor Safety Management and conduct pre-job JHA reviews
- Collaborate with maintenance planners, schedulers, and coordinators to integrate major maintenance and project work, enhancing equipment availability and reducing downtime
- Achieve strong cost and schedule performance metrics through effective coordination and stakeholder engagement
Qualifications and Skills
- Technologist diploma, or Journeyman Technician in maintenance related discipline.
- 10+ years of industry experience.
- Experience in similar industrial, mining, processing, manufacturing or related setting.
- Understanding and experience working with project and maintenance execution processes.
- Must be proficient in the use of Word, Excel, and computerized maintenance management systems (EAM preferred). Experience with SharePoint is preferred.
- Strong written and verbal communications skills.
- Ability to understand engineering documents, such as P&IDs, SLDs, and similar drawings with physical assets.
- Must be highly organized and detail oriented.
