About The Role:Bosa Properties is looking for a Corporate Accountant to join our team of talented real estate professionals. This individual will have a unique opportunity to gain experience in various areas of the department while working with seasoned professionals on high-profile projects. The corporate accounting team works to provide timely and meaningful financial insights to enable the business to analyze performance and make data-driven decisions.What You’ll Do
- Full-cycle accounting and reporting for multiple legal entities, including period-end reporting and preparation of annual ASPE financial statements;
- Analyze and resolve discrepancies in intercompany and cross-currency transactions;
- Prepare documents for external audits, including responding to auditor inquiries and requests;
- Take an active role in monthly management reporting processes by preparing assigned schedules;
- Identify opportunities to streamline financial processes and improve reporting accuracy;
- Collaborate with other finance and accounting team members to ensure cohesive and efficient operations;
- Additional tasks may be assigned based on capacity and aptitude.
What You Bring:
- Post secondary education in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field;
- Actively working towards a CPA designation;
- Two (2) + years of accounting experience at a large, complex organization;
- Comprehensive understanding of accounting principles and practices;
- Proven ability to prioritize and manage multiple priorities and tasks;
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively, building strong relationships across the organization;
- Strong attention to detail, demonstrated through accuracy in data entry;
- Proven ability to proactively adapt to changing priorities and processes;
- Understanding of consolidation procedures will be considered an asset;
- Joint venture and/or partnership experience considered an asset;
- Experience with Yardi Voyager considered an asset.

SalaryThe expected base salary range for this role is $52,100 to $71,600. Our salary ranges and bonus percentages are determined by job family and level.
