Job description: Job Description:We have partnered up with a leader in the manufacturing & distribution industry for a highly skilled Corporate Accountant to join their growing team in Edmonton, Alberta. In this role, you will oversee all aspects of financial record-keeping, ensuring accuracy and compliance with organizational standards. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented individual with extensive experience in bookkeeping and financial analysis.Responsibilities:

• Manage general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and inventory accounting.
• Support in preparation of financial statements, reconciliations, and month-end/year-end close.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
• Collaborate with operations and management to drive data-informed decisions.
• Assist with reviews, tax filings, and compliance reporting.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
• Other Ad hoc projects as required

Requirements:

• 3-5+ years of corporate accounting experience, ideally in distribution or manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and internal controls.
• Daily use of excel. Intermediate to advanced level proficiency
• Experience with ERP systems, particularly Epicor P21, is a strong asset.
• Skilled in inventory accounting, cost of goods sold, and reconciliations.
• Detail-oriented, analytical, and able to manage multiple priorities with discretion.

Expected salary: $70000 – 78000 per year
