This is a 12-14 month contract to cover a Mat leave and will focus on supporting month-end close, reconciliations, budgeting & forecasting, and will be involved in high-volume transactions. • Perform various month-end/ quarter-end close activities within deadlines
• Aid with the development of Standard Operating Procedures for accounting tasks
• Data analysis to support decision making
• Revenue and expense accounting

Requirements:

• CPA designated or towards the end is a requirement
• 3+ years accounting experience
• Strong Excel skills required
• Willingness to learn and ability to pick up on things quickly
