As a people-driven technology company, with a mission to make sure every worker returns home safely, we drive innovation, practice resiliency, demonstrate leadership, go the extra mile for our customers, and empower our people to be their best.Reporting to the Vice President, Accounting & Finance, with regular interaction with the Chief Financial Officer, the Corporate Controller will be responsible for operational activities of the Finance department, including the accounts receivable, accounts payable and payroll functions.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting or Business Administration. CPA, MBA or relevant certification preferred.
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a public mid-sized manufacturing/technology environment
- Ability to adapt to a dynamic, entrepreneurial and fast-paced work environment.
- Ability to work independently with excellent organization skills in assuming responsibility for managing multiple priorities.
- Excellent time management skills, with a demonstrated ability to meet tight deadlines.

- Excellent computer skills, including experience in MS Excel and MS Word applications, with a willingness to develop a full working knowledge of the Company’s NetSuite ERP system.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the Accounts Receivable function to ensure timely collection of customers payments.
- Managing AR team of 4, including team lead and coordinators.
- Manage credit approval process.
- Oversee the Accounts Payable function.
- Manage AP team of 3, including manager and coordinators
- Ensure proper level of authorization obtained for suppliers invoices and matching purchase orders to receipts/bills was completed along with payment
- Review semi-monthly payroll and quarterly commissions.
- Manage insurance risk and liaise with insurance providers.
- Liaise with the Treasury function to support cash inflows and outflows needs.
- Prepare various financial reports, analysis and KPIs for internal and external stakeholders.
- Liaise with the external auditors and support the quarterly reviews and annual audit process.
- Ensure compliance with the Company’s internal controls over financial reporting.
- Collaborate with the team in ad-hoc projects, including the automation and streamlining of various processes to improve the reporting timeline and process improvement.
- Coach and develop an efficient and responsive team through mentoring, knowledge sharing and reinforcing best practices.
