About the Opportunity

• Implementing cost standards for materials, labour and overhead.
• Monitoring unit cost variance by reviewing bi-weekly purchase price variance reports.
• Preparing revenue, COGS and margin analysis reports.
• Reconciling raw materials, WIP and finished goods.
• Updating bookings and backlog reports.
• Providing analysis of manufacturing cost variances.
• Reviewing, analyzing, and updating standard costs.
• Co-ordination/documentation of quarterly obsolescence and reserve reviews.
• Assisting with yearly inventory counts
• Warranty reserve analysis and review.
• Quarterly audit requirements and reports.
• Assisting in SOX documentation pertaining to operations.
• Heavily involved in process improvement initiatives.
• Supporting various cost accounting special projects.

About You

• CPA or equivalent designation
• 5+ years of experience in a similar role
• A good understanding of cost accounting with inventory experience in a manufacturing or high-tech environment
• Proficient skills in Excel and ERP systems
• SAP experience would be an asset

Salary Range
