About the Opportunity
- Implementing cost standards for materials, labour and overhead.
- Monitoring unit cost variance by reviewing bi-weekly purchase price variance reports.
- Preparing revenue, COGS and margin analysis reports.
- Reconciling raw materials, WIP and finished goods.
- Updating bookings and backlog reports.
- Providing analysis of manufacturing cost variances.
- Reviewing, analyzing, and updating standard costs.
- Co-ordination/documentation of quarterly obsolescence and reserve reviews.
- Assisting with yearly inventory counts
- Warranty reserve analysis and review.
- Quarterly audit requirements and reports.
- Assisting in SOX documentation pertaining to operations.
- Heavily involved in process improvement initiatives.
- Supporting various cost accounting special projects.
About You
- CPA or equivalent designation
- 5+ years of experience in a similar role
- A good understanding of cost accounting with inventory experience in a manufacturing or high-tech environment
- Proficient skills in Excel and ERP systems
- SAP experience would be an asset
Salary Range
