Job description: About Our ClientOur client, a manufacturing organization located in Scarborough, is hiring a Cost Accountant to join their growing accounting team for a permanent position.Responsibilities:The Cost Accountant will be responsible for performing a diverse range of functions, including but not limited to:
- Maintain bill of materials
- Sales, margin, and cost variance analysis
- Process improvement recommendations to enhance the current costing process
- Ad hoc projects as required
Minimum Qualifications:
- CPA, CGA, CMA designation or pursuing, but NOT a deal breaker
- 5+ yearsâ previous experience in manufacturing and costing
- Advanced to Expert MS Excel knowledge
- Strong interpersonal skills are paramount for this role
Expected salary: $120000 per year
