Job description: Job Description:We are assisting an organization in their search for a motivated and resourceful Credit Manager to drive forward innovation in their credit and Accounts Receivable operations. This key leader will spearhead company-wide initiatives to refine credit risk evaluations, streamline collections, and ensure adherence to policies throughout all divisions. The selected individual will leverage collaboration, strategic insights, and decisive leadership to support financial growth while enhancing valuable customer relationships. This role requires frequent engagement with regional teams in multiple locations to inspire operational excellence and superior customer service.Key Impact Areas:

• Lead and Enhance Operations: Oversee and guide divisional credit teams, optimizing processes to achieve improved consistency and performance organization wide.

• Risk Assessment and Decision-Making: Analyze high-value credit situations and make strategic decisions that minimize risks while enabling business growth opportunities.

• Team Empowerment: Mentor and equip division leaders and staff to address complex credit challenges and implement effective risk management strategies that align with organizational objectives.

• Monitor and Drive Improvement: Regularly evaluate aged Accounts Receivable balances and collaborate with teams to establish actionable plans for measurable results.

• Strengthen Policy Compliance: Improve adherence to company credit policies by refining and enforcing standards that yield exceptional compliance and results.

• Proactive Risk Mitigation: Design thorough processes for monitoring customer creditworthiness, leveraging data to identify and address potential risks early on.

• Strategic Issue Resolution: Direct and oversee collections efforts, focusing on high-risk or large accounts to secure financially favorable outcomes.

• Partner Collaboration: Build strong relationships with debt recovery organizations and legal professionals to ensure optimal collections performance.

• Insightful Reporting: Provide comprehensive reporting on AR trends and forecasts, presenting valuable updates to senior leadership teams.

• Operational Excellence: Contribute to strategic financial plans by analyzing AR data for key operational insights and alignment with corporate goals.

• Legal Expertise: Offer guidance on secured credit measures like liens or encumbrances and provide solutions in handling legal matters relating to collections.

• Relationship Building: Regularly engage with branch teams and key customers, fostering collaboration and building partnerships that support long-term success.

• Customer-First Leadership: Strengthen relationships with current and prospective clients, ensuring seamless communication and superior service delivery.

Requirements:Qualifications and Competencies Needed:

• Demonstrated leadership expertise in credit management.
