So, if you’re looking for an opportunity to take the next step in your landscape construction career, look no further.As our new Crew Member, you will be responsible for assisting the crew with quality workmanship, truck and trailer cleanliness and machinery, tool and small equipment care.If you were working for us, here are some of the things you would have done last week:

  • Construct walkways and patios, walls, fences, decks, posts, etc.
  • Dig ditches or trenches and perform land-clearing activities
  • Plant and maintain garden beds and lawns
  • Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment
  • Transport materials using shovels, wheelbarrows, carts, dollies, and hand lifting/carrying
  • Operate chainsaws, jackhammers, laser levels, measurement equipment, shovels, hammers, drills, etc.
  • Periodically operate heavy equipment, including skid steer, excavator, and loader as directed by supervisor
  • Maintain standards of cleanliness and organization in assigned trucks, trailers, equipment, job sites, and shop/yard areas
  • Perform preventative maintenance on tools and equipment by conducting inspections, lubricating, and cleaning

Outside of the Landscape Construction season, there are opportunities to join our Snow department.If the idea of living and working in Ontario’s recreational hub excites you, this could be a perfect opportunity to take advantage of all that Georgian Bay living has to offer.QualificationsWe are considering candidates from a wide range of experiences and backgrounds. Ideally, here’s what we’re looking for:

  • Willingness to grow and learn
  • Interpersonal and communication skills
  • Enjoy working in a fast-paced, team environment
  • Ability to complete physically demanding work in hot, cold, and wet weather
  • Comfortable with power tools and general math problems
  • Valid driver’s license

And if you have the following it would be a bonus:

  • Experience with landscape and/or construction
  • Experience reading landscape designs and instructions
