One Full-Time Contract Overnights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) to March 31, 2026 (with the possibility of extension or becoming permanent)The Crisis Response Worker is responsible for providing community support to adults, children and family members of individuals who may be experiencing a crisis situation. The Crisis Response Worker provides support and information via telephone/ text or live chat.Position Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in Social Work or related discipline (i.e. Health Sciences)
  • Minimum three years related experience
  • Knowledge and practice of short-term urgent response, psychosocial rehabilitation approach and advanced clinical, crisis and assessment skills are assets
  • Experience working with individuals having a serious mental illness is essential
  • Crisis skills for adults and children experiencing a mental health crisis are desirable
  • Completion of CPI, CPR and ASSIST training as per agency guidelines
  • Experience and knowledge of the criminal justice system is an asset
  • Knowledge of the local service system is essential
  • The successful applicant will be required to provide a police clearance that meets agency standards
  • A valid Driver’s license, use of a reliable vehicle and appropriate insurance for business purposes are required for this position

Starting Hourly Rate: $34.26 / Hour
Office Hours: Monday – Friday – 8:30 am – 4:30 pm
