Job description: We’re growing!! And looking for a passionate, driven and enthusiastic candidate to join our team for the position of Customer Experience Manager, Development & Construction located at our head office in Guelph, Ontario.Job DescriptionAs a Customer Experience Manager, Development & Construction, you will be responsible for overseeing the customer service responsibilities of development projects, through supporting the pre-occupancy and after sales service. Projects will encompass both rental and condominium residential, industrial, and retail. The position has a focus on enhancing customer experience through the development and construction process while supporting Skyline’s shared goal of creating meaningful value and an exceptional experience for our customers, people and communities.What you will be doing:

  • Conduct site visits to identify deficiencies.
  • Conduct Pre-Delivery Inspections with purchaser and inspect Tarion Warranty forms where required.
  • Work with the development team to implement design choices.
  • Prepare and issue work orders, purchase orders, and back charges as required.
  • Manage trades and service technicians to ensure all deadlines are accurately met.
  • Act as quality control and risk identification for the completion of the project.
  • Primary point of contact for owners, answering questions, providing information, and ensuring expectations are met.
  • Understanding of project schedules and identification of risks that may impact the budget and schedule.
  • Tracking of all condition dates and critical path milestones including creation of internal and external reporting of same.
  • Provide procurement support relating to materials or equipment.
  • Project budget reconciliation.
  • Creation and issuance of monthly construction reports.

  • Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize and adapt to changing conditions and tight deadlines while maintaining strong communication and organizational skills (you got to walk the walk and talk the talk).
  • Efficiency is the name of the game, and you excel at administrative operations and operational adherence to the policies, procedures, and legislation.
  • You are a cultivator of strong working relationships with vendors, on-site staff, and internal departments.
  • Understanding that being proactive with good problem-solving skills, judgment and innovation is key.

Experience and Education:

  • 3 years’ experience in new development or construction, specifically in multi-family residential.
  • Post secondary education, in a related discipline.
  • A valid driver’s license.
