Job description: Note: This position does not offer visa sponsorship and it’s a hybrid roleJob Description:One of our clients is seeking an experienced and motivated DevOps Engineer to join their team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the deployment, automation, and maintenance of our development and production environments. You will work closely with development, operations, and QA teams to ensure smooth and efficient software delivery processes.Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate code deployment and testing.
  • Manage and monitor cloud-based infrastructure (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) to ensure high availability and scalability.
  • Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration management using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or Chef.
  • Collaborate with development teams to integrate DevOps best practices into the software development lifecycle.
  • Monitor system performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement optimizations to improve reliability and efficiency.
  • Ensure security and compliance of infrastructure and applications through regular audits and vulnerability assessments.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for deployment processes, system configurations, and operational procedures.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and application issues promptly to minimize downtime.
  • Stay updated with the latest DevOps tools, technologies, and best practices to continuously improve our processes.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Over 5 years of proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or in a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and related services.
  • Proficiency with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI.
  • Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or Chef.
  • Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
  • Understanding of networking, security, and monitoring best practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
