As a progressive and vibrant healthcare organization, we are committed to being an innovative center of excellence in community hospital care.Job DescriptionWorking as a member of a customer focused team, the successful incumbent will be responsible for the following: servicing and preparing food for patients; transporting and assembling patient meals on patient units; cleaning up of kitchen; disassembling trays; operating the dishwasher and putting away dishes. Other cleaning duties as required.Qualifications

  • High School Diploma preferred
  • Good organizational skills and attention to detail required
  • Good interpersonal skills required in order to interact with other Hospital staff and patients
  • Must be able to meet the physical demands of the position – physically able to operate, load and unload the dishwasher and push heavy carts when transporting patient food trays to the floors
  • Satisfactory employment and attendance record required

The ideal candidate is strong in patient centered care in a dynamic, rapidly changing environment and should be ready to drive change and innovation.
