- We are hiring a Director, Healthcare Transformation to be a leader on an exciting team that will change how Shoppers Drug Mart offers healthcare products and solutions to Canadians in this space. Reporting to the Senior Director, Healthcare Strategy and Transformation, this role will work across the entire organization to help advance the Connected Health Network Strategy. In this role, the Director, Healthcare Transformation will be working with internal and external stakeholders to develop integrated care models, fostering multi-disciplinary collaboration, and supporting navigation services to ensure seamless and coordinated care for Canadians. This role will work closely with partners across the enterprise including PC Health, Lifemark, operations, technology, and other teams to lead growth and expansion projects for the team.
What You’ll Do:
- Lead the development of Shoppers Drug Mart’s strategy to develop and support the implementation of integrated care models and multi-disciplinary care with internal and external stakeholders
- Support the development of roles that will help Canadians navigate the healthcare system
- Identifying and executing strategic opportunities to advance team-based care through services and/or clinical priorities and capabilities for the enterprise
- Develop a thorough understanding of Lifemark and build relationships with key stakeholders
- Execute to achieve synergies with Lifemark
- Exhibit strong leadership and coaching abilities
- Use superior power point and written communication skills to create presentations which captivate senior leadership, cross-functional team members and potential partners
- Work closely with product, distribution, and operational partners in the analysis surrounding strategic business initiatives and new product ideas
- Own the creation of business cases for new products/programs, developing appropriate financial/business models and sensitivities for senior management
What You’ll Need:
- Extensive clinical or relevant expertise in the integrated care, multi-disciplinary care, and healthcare navigation
- Experience in creating strategy and working to bring it from an idea on a page to an executable product / program
- 10+ years of relevant healthcare and health system experience
- Must be able to drive positive results and outcomes working collaboratively with cross functional teams and vendor partners
- Experience in project management, product management and stakeholder influence
- Exceptional written and oral communication skills, with the ability to present and engage senior level executives
- Experience working with complex data sets and collaborating with technical / data partners is a significant asset
- Must be able to work with complex projects, balancing multiple workstreams and initiatives
- High sense of accountability and proactive in identifying challenges and recommending solutions
- Ability to work within a dynamic rapidly growing and evolving environment
- Proven relationship management (both internal and external) skills
- Demonstrated financial/analytical acumen, including business case development; experience building complex multivariate models a strong asset
- Experience wearing multiple hats with an ability to get into the details and manage specific projects, as well as take a higher more strategic view on program level aspects
