Job description: Job Description:We are offering a full on-site, long-term contract employment opportunity for a Director of Supply Chain in Etobicoke, Ontario. The role is within the manufacturing industry and involves managing global supply chains, supply chain risk, and logistics.Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement global supply chain strategies to enhance business performance and stakeholder value.
  • Oversee the end-to-end supply chain process from manufacturing to distribution.
  • Implement supply chain risk management strategies and mitigation plans.
  • Lead and manage the warehouse and logistics functions to ensure effective and efficient operations.
  • Work closely with manufacturing plants to ensure optimal production levels and quality.
  • Utilize supply chain modules in Oracle Manufacturing and SAP Manufacturing for better management.
  • Develop and manage relationships with key stakeholders in the manufacturing and logistics industry.
  • Collaborate with global manufacturing teams to enhance the manufacturing process and product quality.
  • Ensure the smooth operation of manufacturing facilities and oversee the volume manufacturing process.
  • Implement and manage warehouse management systems for efficient logistics and distribution.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in Supply Chain Management, with a focus on Global Supply Chain operations
  • Proficient in designing and implementing Supply Chain Strategies
  • Experience in managing Supply Chain risks and ensuring business continuity
  • Knowledge of various Supply Chain Modules and their effective implementation
  • Experience in the Manufacturing Industry, with a focus on Global Manufacturing processes
  • Familiarity with Manufacturing Management, including overseeing Manufacturing Operations and Facilities
  • Proficiency in understanding and improving Manufacturing Processes
  • Experience in managing Manufacturing Plants, including optimizing operations and maintaining safety standards
  • Knowledge of Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) operations and standards
  • Familiarity with Oracle Manufacturing and SAP Manufacturing software
  • Experience in Warehouse Management, including optimizing storage and retrieval processes
  • Expertise in Logistics & Distribution, including overseeing efficient delivery of Manufactured Products
  • Knowledge of the Logistics Industry and its best practices
  • Proficiency in Plex Manufacturing ERP for efficient resource planning and management
  • Experience in Volume Manufacturing, including managing high output operations
  • Experience in managing a manufacturing facility, ensuring optimal use of resources and adherence to safety regulations.

Expected salary: $66.5 – 77 per hour
