Job description: Position: Electricians – Journeyperson – SaskPower ErmineProject Type: Industrial – Ermine Power StationProject Location: Kerrobert, SKShift: DaysSchedule: 10 days on 4 days offAccommodations: LOA: $180.00 Per Day Worked if you are over 100 KM’s, you will be required to provide 2 pieces of documentations with proof of addressGC: GrahamAllied Partner: Woodland Constructors LtdReference Number: 26863Jardeg is recruiting for Electrical Journeypersons for upcoming work at Woodland Constructors Ltd. to build the expansion of Ermine Power Station near Kerrobert, SK.As a Journeyperson or Apprentice Electrician you will:

  • Read and interpret drawings, schematics and electrical code specific to electrical equipment layout.
  • Test, examineand install electrical components, wiring, receptables, switches and other electrical controls.
  • Work with cutting, threading, bending, assembling and installing conduits and other conductors and fittings.
  • Install Cable Tray/Conduit and support systems along with cable pull and terminations.
  • Install electrical equipment and heat trace systems along with reading and interpreting drawings and following specifications and CEC.

Requirements:

  • Must have a minimum of 2 years Industrial experience
  • CSTS/SCOT Certificate
  • ESTS Certificate – This is a “nice to have”
  • WHMIS 2015 Certificate
  • Fall Pro (OSSA Preferred)
  • AWP (OSSA Preferred)
  • CODC- R&R
  • Journeyperson Certificate
  • Ticketed Journeyperson must have the Saskatchewan Electrical License –
  • Must be legally entitled to work in Canada
  • Satisfactory completion of Pre-Access Drug and Alcohol Test
