Job description: Actalent is hiring an Embedded Security Engineer for our client, fully remote.Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive security risk analysis of IP products.
• Contribute to and/or review Threat Modeling.
• Define and maintain the IP Security Development lifecycle as a member of the IP Security Incident Response Team.
• Research new vulnerability classes, attacks, and security threats.
• Review and analyze vulnerabilities in IP products.
• Devise verification methodologies and EDA tools for security in IP products.
• Define, promote, and track the rollout of new IP Security initiatives.

Qualifications

• University degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
• At least two years of relevant experience in software or hardware security.
• Understanding of security threats, risk analysis, and mitigation strategies.
• Experience with security incident reporting and development of semiconductor IP products is an advantage.
• Relevant security-specific training and certifications are an advantage.

Technical Skills

• Some Design experience or exposure with ASIC/FPGA/IC
• Security Risk Analysis (SRA)
• Threat Modeling
• Security Development Lifecycle (SDL)
