Job description: Job DescriptionOur client, a leading company building advanced imaging systems, is seeking a detail-oriented Embedded Software Engineer to join their team. The ideal candidate will be proficient in programming in Embedded C for electro-mechanical systems and possess a deep understanding of hardware design.Day to day work will vary based on project needs. In general, the projects will be new feature/product development on the NPI team. You will be assigned to projects that align with your strengths and interests. The overall system is immensely complex and there is a wide variety of different projects you can work on from low-level firmware/device driver development in C to high-level application development in C++.Must-Have Skills

• C and C++ development experience
• Experience working on multithreaded applications
• Experience with Real Time Operating Systems (FreeRTOS, vxWorks, RTEMS, ThreadX)
• GIT
• Familiarity with communication protocols (RS232, I2C, SPI, CAN, USB, Ethernet)
• Linux
