Asa student at PCL you will have the opportunity for challenging work assignments in a supportive work environment which promotes personal and professional growth.We are seeking Engineering Students for our Regina District, within our Canadian Buildings Division that are available for 4, 8, 12 or 16 months starting to September 2024.Here’s how a(n) Engineering/Technical Student for our Regina office contributes to our team:Responsibilities

  • Report deficiencies by going on various site visits
  • Monitor and coordinate trade scopes of work
  • Coordinate and update field drawings, specifications, and project schedules
  • Participate in project meetings and get a chance to be part of something bigger by working closely with seasoned project professionals
  • Conduct trade contractor quote reviews
  • Get to visit some of our impressive projects and job sites while taking progress photos and monitoring deficiency logs knowing that you helped build that
  • Be responsible for performing bid day assignments and overall bid document control. Everyone at PCL takes ownership and that includes students.
  • Assistance with on-site problem solving

Qualifications

  • Candidates must have a strong desire to work in a construction environment and prior field construction experience will be considered an asset.
  • Application of various computer software programs will be required, including word processing, spreadsheet applications and drafting.
  • Knowledge of Revit, AutoCAD, and Sketchup will be considered an asset.
  • Access to a clean, reliable vehicle.
