Supervise and maintain enhancement/construction projects. The role also involves customer communication and daily record-keeping of job metrics.Responsibilities

  • Assess and survey projects
  • Lead a small crew for landscape construction, tree planting, fencing, grading/excavation, mulch installs, planting projects ect.
  • Efficiently plan and execute horticultural tasks, including planting, treatment, pruning, and care
  • Handle and transport nursery stock, manage soil and sod tasks, fertilize, and maintain equipment
  • Must be able to operate a large truck with large trailer safely and effectively
  • Equipment floating experience
  • Assist in landscape construction, track job metrics, and ensure safety compliance
  • Adhere to all company and local regulations
  • Engage courteously with customers

Qualifications

  • CLEAN AND VALID G CLASS LICENSE – MANDATORY
  • Completed college or vocational training with Horticulturist, Landscape Construction Certification, CLT or CHT Certification
  • 3-5 years’ experience in the field along with leading people
  • Proficient in plant identification, especially trees and shrubs
  • Ability to interpret blueprints
  • Physically fit with stamina; must be able to lift 50 pounds
  • Skilled in measurement, safety, detail-oriented tasks, problem-solving, and communication
  • Requires working near heavy machinery, outdoors in varying conditions, and flexible hours, including weekends
  • Proficient in English

Expected salary: $27 – 30 per hour
