This full-time position offers the chance to apply your expertise while gaining valuable experience.Responsibilities:
- Conduct key account reconciliations.
- Support customer invoicing process.
- Help maintain an accurate financial system, including posting invoices and reviewing reports to check account coding is correct.
- Create and distribute financial and operational reports, as well as performance metrics.
- Learn and utilize existing software and recommend system and process improvements where relevant.
- Assist clients with annual budget preparation and quarterly forecast updates.
- Calculate and analyze variances between actuals and budget on a monthly basis.
- Conduct research on accounting treatment for routine transactions.
- Look to continuously improve processes that you are working on or are affected by.
- Perform ad-hoc financial analysis.
- Support the team with projects and improvement initiatives, such as system implementations.
Key Technical Skills:
- Interest in pursuing CPA certification.
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in business, finance, accounting, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Experience with accounting software (e.g., Quickbooks, Sage, SAP, or another) is advantageous.
