Job description: Working together to provide outstanding integrated health care to our communities delivering best patient outcomes with exemplary standards and compassion, Muskoka Algonquin Healthcare (MAHC) is a multi-site organization that includes Huntsville District Memorial Hospital Site and South Muskoka Memorial Hospital Site.ROLEThe Executive Assistant will provide primary administrative support to the Vice President, Vice President, People and Chief Human Resources Officer. The incumbent will co-ordinate committee meetings; generates and distributes minutes and agendas; co-ordinate committee reports for identified meetings; manage applicable action items from committees and organizes the location and catering of meetings as required. Research, analyze, and co-ordinates activities. Assists in the preparation of information for presentation by the Senior Leadership Members to internal and external stakeholders. Is responsible for maintaining up-to-date policies for the portfolio by engaging with subject manager experts as appropriate. Leads projects as assigned by the leadership team within the portfolio. Maintains all corporate records in accordance with records retention policies and best practices. Provide administrative support to the Vice-President, Directors and Managers. Support the leadership team in this portfolio and tracks priorities for the team.REQUIRED EDUCATION & CERTIFICATION(S)
- Post-secondary education (degree or diploma) in a related field.
REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE(S)
- Minimum three (3) years’ related experience in a not-for-profit or healthcare-related sector.
- Advanced computer skills and experience with Microsoft Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams and Zoom.
- Experience with project management.
- Demonstrated administrative skills including planning and project management support.
- Strong verbal communication skills are essential in order to interact with various individuals and committees.
- Demonstrated superior written communication, grammar, punctuation, spelling, and editing skills.
- Ability to time manage, prioritize, and multi-task to tight deadlines.
- Demonstrated attention to detail.
- Highly motivated and flexible with the ability to adapt quickly to new situations/challenges.
- Demonstrated appreciation and respect for protocol, professionalism, and confidentiality.
- Ability to work efficiently, independently and in a collaborative environment.
- Demonstrates commitment to professional and personal growth and development through continuing education programs.

Must be available to work shifts including days, evenings, nights and weekends as required. Shifts and hours may change according to departmental requirements.Conditions of employment for external hires includes;
