Job description: Position: Experienced Shipper Assistant
Location: Markham
Salary: $22 per hour
Job Type: Temporary, long-termOur well-established client located in the Markham area is currently seeking for experienced Shippers/Receivers to join their growing team. If you are energetic and hard-working, have a flexible attitude, and work well independently, and in a team environment, we would love to hear from you! This is not a part-time position. Please apply ASAP!Duties and Responsibilities:– Unload material from delivery vehicles manually (ability to lift up to 50 lbs)
– Verify goods and quantities
– Separate, tag, process and/or locate products
– Check purchase orders on non-production and special product supplies
– Deliver mail and packages received in warehouse to designated areas parts for shipment using RF unit and/or a PC
– Pick, wrap and replenish goods
– Generate or manually create appropriate shipping documentation as required (packing lists, Bills of Lading, courier waybills, address labels, courier labels, etc.)Qualifications:– Good computer knowledge
– Ability to stand / walk throughout your shift
– Previous experience with SAP is an asset
