Job description: Job DescriptionYou will mainly be responsible for the service and inspection of fire alarm systems according to standards and codes. Among other things, your responsibilities will be:

• Inspection, service, and troubleshooting of existing fire alarm systems;
• Performing upgrades, repairs, additions, or improvements to systems following inspection;
• Preparation of inspection, verification, and deficiency reports in a timely manner;
• Respond to emergency calls during evenings and weekends, on a rotational basis.

QUALIFICATION

• Diploma in Fire Protection Technology/Technologist;
• CFAA certification;
• 5-10 years of relevant experience in the fire protection field;
• Experience in fire alarm systems programming;
• Knowledge of Notifier products (an asset);
• Knowledge in marine fire alarm systems (an asset);
• Ability to work well independently;
• Valid driver’s license;
• Strong customer service skills.
