The specific area of transformation you will be facilitating and working closely with our build partner to maximize the build efficiency, increase schedule predictability and identify unit cost efficiencies while driving sustainable & strong engagement with our partners.As a Field Construction Manager, you will be leading the end-to-end PureFibre Network Deployment program. You will focus on build efficiency, project implementation, quality standards, and safety needs. You will showcase the TELUS values internally and externally and truly embrace the spirit of community champion to elevate our brand. As a key member of the team you will collaborate with both a core program team and cross-functional teams .What you’ll doResponsible for overseeing multiple projects, with a focus on leading and coordinating TELUS’ build partners involved in the construction of all TELUS outside plant infrastructure.Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise the implementation of Outside Plant infrastructure projects across various communities in Edmonton and northern Alberta
- Ensure adherence to quality standards and compliance to ensure timely completion of workloads in alignment with strategic objectives. Collaborate closely with internal and external teams to establish consistent operating processes within the construction discipline.
- Support the long-term roadmap for the team and TELUS’ build partners, aligning multiple work streams involved in the construction of TELUS access infrastructure.
- Lead build partner teams responsible for specific regions, projects, or product lines as needed.
- Maintain fiscal management of capital and operations within the Capital Build Program for the region.
- Evaluate build partner quotes and provide recommendations based on cost, performance, and resource allocation.
- Manage various components such as scheduling, materials, revisions, approvals, compliance, costs, and reporting.
- Cultivate client-partner relationships to ensure mutual understanding of TELUS’ expectations.
- Effectively communicate project details to stakeholders.

- Proven ability to analyze, monitor and manage a budget
- Ability to work with internal and external team members to improve their performance through observing, assessing and sharing information about performance expectations
Great-to-haves
- Related degree/diploma or equivalent related experience
- Experience interfacing with customers to resolve customer service issues
- Previous related management experience an asset
Salary Range: $71,000-$107,000Performance Bonus or Sales Incentive Plan: 12%Actual total compensation will be determined based on factors such as knowledge, skills, performance and experience. In addition, TELUS offers rewarding benefits such as:
