Job description: DescriptionOur Downtown Vancouver real estate client is seeking a Financial Accountant to join the team on a permanent basis.**Competitive salary ranging from $60,000 – $75,000**Benefits:

Responsibilities:

• Prepares financial statements and assists with day-to-day accounting functions for a portfolio of companies
• Ensures accuracy of accounting transactions and manages accounts and bank reconciliation processes
• Compiles year-end audit working papers and liaises with auditors
• Prepares partnership and corporate tax returns
• Compiles annual operating budgets
• Conducts variance analysis
• Provides administrative support to management as required

Successful Candidate:

• 3+ years’ experience in accounting related position
• Accounting Diploma / or an interest in becoming a CPA
• Excellent people skills and strong written and verbal communication skills
• Experience in Sage 300 will be highly regarded

Expected salary: $60000 – 75000 per year
