• Prepares corporate consolidated operational and financial reporting, including consolidated Monthly Operational Reports (MOR) and Planning, for management and external users.
• Prepares quarterly and annual consolidated financial statements, annual non‐consolidated financial statements, and corporate tax returns
• Prepares quarterly and annual reporting for various third parties, management reporting, and analysis.
• Prepares quarterly and annual bank syndication and surety reporting documents.
• Prepares financial information for internal and external users including conferences and award submissions Performs accounting for alternate finance projects.
• Prepares ad hoc analysis and other reconciliations for senior executives.
• Develops and maintains strong, customer‐focused relationships with all stakeholders.
• Other duties as required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of progressive experience in public practice or financial accounting in a related field.
• Postsecondary degree or diploma in a related discipline and an accounting designation is required.
• CPA designation required.
• Intermediate understanding and knowledge of financial statements.
• Understanding of full‐cycle accounting.
• Intermediate understanding of GAAP (generally accepted accounting principles) and auditing standards.
• Experience preparing financial accounting files (e.g., quarterly, year‐end).
• Understands and complies with relevant government legislation. Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently or in a team environment in a highly matrixed organization.
• Organizational skills, high level of detail orientation, and ability to multitask and prioritize conflicting deadlines.
• Ability to act with discretion when handling confidential information.
• Demonstrated critical‐thinking skills.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective stakeholder relationships.
• Intermediate skills using Microsoft Office Suite and financial reporting systems.
