Working for Pembina means working safely.Overview:Pembina Pipeline Corporation’s Calgary office is recruiting for a Financial Accountant to join the team. This position reports to the Manager, Financial Compliance & Reporting in the Accounting Service Unit (ASU), part of Pembina’s Financial Services Division.ASU provides financial reporting and accounting leadership across Pembina and is responsible for the preparation and compilation of Pembina’s consolidated financial statements, notes, MD&A, and operational highlights. The team is also responsible for establishing and ensuring adherence to accounting policies, review and analysis of new accounting standards and interpretations, accounting for capital assets, legal entity reporting and regulatory compliance and maintaining SAP data integrity.The Accountant, Legal Entity Reporting will be responsible for accurate financial reporting at the legal entity level as well as monthly accounting and related quarterly reporting. The successful candidate is a team player with strong understanding of the financial reporting requirements, and problem solving, critical thinking, and analytical skills.Responsibilities may include but not limited to:
